Yesterday we spent half (not the whole!) day at the hospital, and got some more nice news: my counts are continuing to come up on their own, and my leg infection is getting better, which means I could avoid being admitted this weekend. My energy level is still pretty low, and walking and sleeping are still difficult for various reasons, which should lift soon. But at least I can be home this weekend!
Yesterday evening we had a lovely visit outdoors at the Fireman's Memorial, with Brian's long-time friends NATALIE and GORDON. They are visiting for the weekend from Canada. They live on a farm about an hour from Ottawa, and they brought with them honey that they collected from their honeybees!
